The whole social networking craze has really taken off. I up until a couple of months ago had little to no experience with it nor did I think it was that cool. Ok since then I have become addicted to it. At first I found all of my friends, class mates from, lets just say a very long time ago, people from different times in my life that I thought I would never see or speak to again, and then I got onto the whore thing. Lets just say that I am convinced and big business should be convinced as well that social networks such as my space, xanga, piczoo, and so on are not just for the pay per click or survey scammers anymore. There is money to be made there and on top of that it is a way to connect with the generation that has the buying power right now and find out what they want and how to better serve them as a consumer. This brings us to a whole new marketing strategy. These spaces do not like spammers and no one else really does either. However with a site that is cool to visit and yet still informative about products big business can really do them selves a favor by joining the my space. This opens up a whole new world of job positions. I mean after all someone needs to create, maintain, and whore these sites which takes some work if you want to do it with out getting the profile deleted. So all of those who have mastered playing on my space all day and have found the in’s and out’s of code and have fresh ideas in marketing there ya go. I would say leave the pay per click and survey crap behind and talk to some friends or family members friends and find the sales men who need a boost in business. This is where you will find the jobs that pay!!! I am currently in the process of launching my own web site. One of the many things this site will feature is a social networking highway. This will be a page where you can look at a list of social networks and sign up for those you didn’t know existed and a page you can visit that will list a set links so that you can visit the page and log in and check all of your social networks from one spot. So keep posted and stay looking for this. There will be bulletins, event indentations, and so on.
